John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Thelonious Monk often composed and performed pieces in jazzy swing grooves but rarely wrote pieces in specific Latin rhythmic grooves like Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Boléro, or Bossa Nova. But if you love jazz, you won't be surprised to hear that their compositions often lend themselves to interpretation with a Latin tinge. Carl and friends will be revisiting classics by Miles, Monk, and Trane, plus a taste of pieces by Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter.
