Drummer Adam Carlson, pianist Torrey Newhart, saxophonist Joe Manis, and myself will take on John Coltrane's album "A Love Supreme" in celebration of the 50th anniversary of its release.  A masterpiece of epic proportions, the album has been perpetually influential during its 50 year lifespan.  Opportunities to hear this music played live are practically nonexistent, but Adam has put together this band for just that reason.  After successful shows in Eugene and Bend, we are excited to bring it to Portland to play Michelle's Piano!
